British Car Conversions Continues to innovate. Our Engine product line is aimed at Rear wheel drive vehicles with small engine bays and the need for Light Weight, High Powered yet Reliable Drivelines has continued our drive for the GM 60°V6 engines. These compact and light weight Torque-Monsters will push the car far beyond the four cylinder engines some claim and fit many platforms better. The GM 60°V6 has more in common with V8 conversions without the headache of added weight or cooling issues that come with engines that take the entire engine bay.
While our site may concentrate on the MGB, Triumph TR6, Jensen Healeys and other British cars, our GM 60V6 Conversion Components have found there way into many other vehicles including the Mazda Miata/MX5, Datsun 510s, Chevy S10 (both early 2.8/2.5L and later 2.2L Versions!), as well as Chevy LUV, Chevette, Isuzu Trooper, Jeep Cherokee and Comanche, (both 4 Cylinder 2.5 and Six Cylinder 2.8L to later V6 engines), 60°V6 Camaros, Sunbeam Alpine (aka Alger/Liger), Opel GT, Suzuki Samurai, Sandrails, three wheelers, FiberFab including the Jamaican & Valkyrie, Derby cars and More. Some mid 1990s Dodge Dakota 2.5L four cylinders utilize the GM Metric bolt pattern, so these engines can replace those! The varied Lotus 7 Clones (forgive the term "Clones") which include Locost, Caterham, Westfield, Birkin, Brunton Stalker, MK Sportscars, and other Lotus 7 Clones British car conversions still centers on British Sports-Cars circa the 60s-70s with the venerable GM 60° including rarer models such as TVR 2500m and 280i, the Sunbeam Alpine or even the Nash Metropolitan being repowered with our components by Enthusiasts, DIY Type Hobbyists and Professionals who find great Power, Economy, Reliability and Real Driving Enjoyment with our components, but we still can help others looking for fantastic way to make their lifetime classic something to enjoy more readily and more often.
